Daylight savings which states

When it ends on the first Sunday in November, clocks are set back an hour. Clocks are always set forward or backward at AM local time. Most states in the United States observe daylight savings time, although many people have argued against its usefulness and advocate for a year-round daylight savings time without having to set clocks forward or back.

As of mid, however, no changes have been made, and the majority of the U. Uniform daylight savings time was established under the Uniform Time Act of There are, however, a handful of exceptions.

Let's get with it people? Fuck business's, usually head up their ass anyway. Get rid of it. The concept of Time is a human construct.

Nature doesn't bother with it. Up with the sun, down when it's dark. Pick one and end this ridiculous back and forth. I already live in a state that has very few sunny days per year, Pennsylvania, DST only adds to the struggle.

As for myself and the other adults in my home it means getting up and driving to work in darkness and then driving home from work in darkness. I mean statistically this time of year is hard for those who struggle with their mental health. Personally,SAD was a concept that I payed no attention to, Im sure there are those who suffer much worse. Why would we purposely add to this??

Dark in the morning is not good for kids! Leave the time on Standard Time year round. Arizona has the right idea! Get rid of daylight savings time!!! It only costs money and hurts people. Changing the clocks twice a year is very disruptive to our bodies. DST preserves daylight which improves our physical and mental health. As this article shows, there are many health benefits to leaving DST as our new time. Standard time is not based on nature; instead, it was started in Britain.

It does not fit into our lifestyle here in the U. For me, DST enables me to walk for exercise after work which keeps me healthier both physically and mentally.

I'm definitely for DST at all times for the extended daylight to enjoy life in so many ways throughout the early evening. This makes plain common sense to me. The actual daylight is not extended by changing the clocks. Personally, I like having sunrise when I need to get up.

No to standard time, Yes to DST!!! Super duper hard pass! Congress needs to vote NO on making standard time pernament! Call your congressperson and tell them, "Hands off our DST! Quit being selfish. We do not need to keep making these changes. It is horrible for our health and many states have voted to stop. Our Fed Gov. Just enact it. The people have spoken and I personally don't care which option we choose as long as it is only one.
