It is a matter of opinion or choices maybe. I like books more on the fantasy and sci-fi side but I do like realistic fiction too.

Many of my favourite books are realistic fiction. But this just wasn't for me. But always remember that a good childrens' book is not one that can be only enjoyed by a child, in fact such a book is not a good childrens' book at all. Judy is really mean to her brother which is why I think it does not have the best role models, but over all its not that bad.
