Timber cladding, green walls, bronze coloured cladding and glazing have been selected to provide a natural colour palette that allows the building to blend in with its stunning parkland environment. The existing hedge will be protected and enhanced with wildflower meadow planting either side. All specimen trees will be kept and protected and a new avenue of trees will be planted. A new central pedestrian approach, framed by semi-mature trees and contemporary bench seating has been designed to create a dramatic avenue effect for all visitors to the stadium.

The ecology of the site will be enhanced by the introduction of large scale living green walls, roofs, additional wildflower meadow planting and planting of spring time bulbs which will also further enhance the parkland setting of the stand.

LSI at the home of Saracens provides a real working environment and a close and unique relationship which supports their academic programmes. In parallel with the expanded LSI, the University also wishes to establish a modern, purpose-built practice simulation suite for its School of Health and Education.
